Hello there! I'm Melly, an instructional designer with a passion for combining visual design and education. I find joy in presenting, educating, and tackling projects that involve both creative and technical aspects, from needs analysis to programming those pesky Storyline variables.
My career started as a Biology teacher. I loved meticulously planning lessons that aimed to directly tackle learning objectives. By my third year as a teacher, my students had a pass rate over 90% on the AP Biology exam and 99% on their end of course examinations. After 6 years of working in public education, I transitioned to corporate Instructional Design, where I am currently a full-time Instructional Design intern.
Outside of education, I'm an artist with a deep love for animation. My artistic journey, starting in high school and continuing throughout adulthood, has enriched my visual design skills and enhanced my work in eLearning.
